The first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 concludes today, January 30. On the final day, candidates will take the second paper (BArch/BPlanning), which will be conducted in a single shift from 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
The result for the first session of JEE Mains 2025 will be declared by February 12, 2025, according to the test's information bulletin. The Paper 1 (BE/BTech) exams for JEE Main 2025 session 1 were conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. The Paper 1 exam took place in two shifts: from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. The next step in the JEE Mains process will be the release of the provisional answer key, along with the questions and candidates' responses, which will be available on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The agency will also allow candidates to raise objections by paying a non-refundable fee per question.
"The NTA will publish the Provisional Answer Key on its website, https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/, along with a Public Notice to give candidates the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer keys by paying ₹200 per question as processing charges. The provisional answer keys are expected to be available for two to three days," according to the information bulletin.
"The NTA will also display the recorded responses and question papers attempted by candidates on the NTA website, https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/, before announcing the results or NTA scores. The recorded responses are likely to be available for two to three days," it added.
NTA will only accept online, paid challenges submitted within the specified time. Challenges lacking justification or evidence, or those submitted through any medium other than the prescribed link, will not be considered.
The agency stated that subject experts will review all the challenges received, after which the final answer key will be published. The results will be based on the final answer key.
