MHT CET 2025 registration starts today at cetcell.mahacet.org, with the information brochure now available.

The deadline to apply for MHT CET 2025 is February 15, 2025. However, candidates can submit their applications until February 22, 2025, by paying a late fee of ₹500.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) Maharashtra has announced that the online registration for the Maharashtra Common Eligibility Test (MHT CET 2025) will start today, December 30. The information brochure has been released on cetcell.mahacet.org. Below are the official notification and the direct link to download the MHT CET information brochure.

The CET Cell has stated that the confirmed exam schedule and the dates for the release of admit cards will be announced at a later time.

The MHT CET 2025 exam will be conducted in two groups: PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).

According to the tentative schedule released in November, the PCB group's exam is expected to take place from April 9 to 17, 2025, excluding April 10 and 14, 2025. The PCM group's exam is likely to be held from April 19 to 27, 2025, excluding April 24, 2025.

The exams for both PCB and PCM groups will be held in two shifts. Below are the paper timings:

The CET Cell will assign approximately 20% weightage to the Class 11 curriculum and 80% to the Class 12 curriculum while preparing the question paper. Candidates can refer to the exam syllabus in the information brochure using the link provided above.

There will be no negative marking in the test. The difficulty level of questions for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics will be on par with the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains, while the difficulty level for Biology will be similar to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

The MHT CET 2025 application fee is ₹1,000 for candidates from the general category (open category), Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), and Jammu & Kashmir Migrant candidates.

For candidates from the Backward Class Category (SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, SEBC, EWS), Persons with Disability (PwD), as well as Orphan and Transgender (Other) category candidates, the application fee is ₹800.
