Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch in May 2025
Samsung is preparing to unveil its next flagship smartphone—the Galaxy S25 Edge—in May 2025. A recent leak by industry insider Roland Quandt reveals key specifications and design features, offering tech enthusiasts a detailed look before the official launch.
Slim & Premium Design
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature an ultra-slim profile at just 5.85mm thickness and weigh only 163g, making it one of Samsung’s sleekest models to date. It will sport a titanium frame paired with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the back and Ceramic 2 glass on the front, promising improved durability and aesthetics.
Display and Performance
Leaks suggest a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1440x3120 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and a fluid user experience. Security is likely enhanced with an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the device may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with 12GB of RAM, and offer 256GB and 512GB storage variants.
Camera Capabilities
Photography is another standout feature. The Galaxy S25 Edge could boast a 200MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). It may also include a 12MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° field of view, though this lens will likely lack OIS. A 12MP front camera is expected to handle selfies and video calls.
Battery and Other Features
The smartphone is rumored to come with a 3,900mAh battery that supports wireless charging. It will also be IP68-rated, offering resistance to dust and water. However, the slim design appears to sacrifice a telephoto lens and a larger battery capacity.
Expected Pricing and Variants
In Germany, the 256GB variant may be priced at €1,249, while the 512GB model could cost around €1,369. These prices place it between the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra in Samsung’s flagship lineup.
Color Options and Availability
The Galaxy S25 Edge might launch in Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Icy Blue, and Titanium Silver. Shipping in Europe could begin by late May, shortly after a mid-May announcement.
