The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially confirmed the resumption of IPL 2025 with a revised schedule. The league will restart on May 17, 2025, with a blockbuster face-off between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Fans can look forward to action-packed matches leading up to the IPL 2025 final on June 3.
The tournament faced a temporary suspension last week due to escalating geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan. However, following a ceasefire agreement on Saturday, the BCCI and security agencies assessed the situation and gave the green signal for the T20 league to continue.
The revised schedule includes 17 remaining matches between May 17 and June 3, with matches set to take place across six major venues and a few neutral locations.
