Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest mid-range smartphone, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, in India. According to recent leaks, the device is expected to debut on April 2, 2025, with sales commencing from April 9, 2025. 

Display and Design

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering users a smooth and immersive visual experience. Leaked renders suggest a design similar to its predecessor, the Edge 50 Fusion, but with an upgraded triple rear camera setup housed in a squarish camera island. The device is expected to be available in light blue, salmon (light pink), and lavender (light purple) color options. 

Performance

Under the hood, the Edge 60 Fusion is anticipated to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, built on TSMC’s advanced 4nm technology. This octa-core processor includes four Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.60GHz and four Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz, ensuring efficient performance for daily tasks and multitasking. 

Camera

For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel Sony LYT700 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a third unspecified sensor. On the front, a 32-megapixel camera is likely to cater to selfies and video calls. 

Battery and Durability

The Edge 60 Fusion is rumored to be equipped with a substantial 5,500mAh battery, potentially offering extended usage without frequent recharging. In terms of durability, the device may come with MIL-STD-810 military-grade certification and an IP69 rating, providing robust resistance against shocks, water, and dust. 

Pricing

While official pricing details are yet to be announced, leaks suggest that the Edge 60 Fusion will be priced under ₹25,000 in India, aligning with its predecessor's pricing strategy.
