Hero MotoCorp plans to introduce five new bikes and scooters in 2025.
Hero MotoCorp seems to have an action-packed 2025 ahead. The company is gearing up to unveil a variety of new models at the upcoming 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo, followed by their launch in the Indian market. In this article, we highlight the top five motorcycles and scooters Hero MotoCorp is set to introduce in India this year.
Xpulse 210
Hero MotoCorp's entry-level adventure bike series, the Xpulse, is set to adopt liquid cooling in 2025. The company showcased the Xpulse 210 at last year’s EICMA, generating significant excitement among Indian buyers. While the design closely resembles its 200cc predecessor, the bike features several new body panels, giving it a larger and more imposing look. The most notable upgrade is its performance, powered by a new 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers 25bhp and 20Nm of peak torque. As an adventure motorcycle, the Xpulse 210 is expected to feature distinct gear ratios tailored for off-road performance.
Karizma XMR 250
The stylish Karizma XMR is set to receive a significant upgrade this year with the introduction of the Karizma XMR 250. This new model is a more powerful version of its 210cc predecessor. In terms of design, the 250cc Karizma boasts a sharper and more aspirational look compared to the Karizma XMR 210. Upon its launch, it will compete with several Japanese motorcycles in the segment.
Xtreme 250R
The Xtreme 250R, a naked version of the Karizma XMR 250, marks Hero MotoCorp's entry into the competitive 250cc street bike segment. The Xtreme brand has established a strong foothold in India over the past decade across various categories. However, this is the first time it will go head-to-head with some of the top 250cc street bikes in the Indian market.
Hero Destini 125
The Destini 125, Hero's first modern retro-style scooter, was unveiled a few months ago. Unfortunately, it missed its anticipated launch during the festive season. However, in 2025, this scooter is expected to hit the market with a competitive price that could undercut several of its competitors.
Hero Xoom 125R & Xoom 160
Hero MotoCorp may launch two new Xoom scooters in 2025—a 125cc premium scooter and a 160cc adventure-styled scooter. Although these models were showcased a few years ago, it seems 2025 will mark the arrival of at least one of them in Hero showrooms. The Xoom 160, in particular, could be a game-changer by creating a new segment, positioning Hero MotoCorp as a more aspirational brand in the eyes of Indian consumers.
