RBI Recruitment 2025: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is inviting applications from eligible, interested, and qualified candidates for the position of Part-Time Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on a contractual basis.
According to the official notification for RBI Recruitment 2025, there are 03 vacancies available for this role. Candidates must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university by the Medical Council of India in the Allopathic system of medicine and have a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience as a Medical Practitioner in any hospital or clinic.
Selected candidates will receive a remuneration of Rs. 1000 per hour. Additionally, the monthly salary will include Rs. 1,000 for conveyance expenses and Rs. 1,000 for mobile charges reimbursement. However, no other perks or benefits will be provided to the BMC on a contract basis.
As per the official notification, the selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 03 years, with no option for renewal at the end of the contract term. They will be posted at dispensaries located in the RBI Office buildings and residential colonies in Ahmedabad, specifically near Gandhi Bridge (Address: Ahmedabad – 380014).
Candidates will be chosen based on their interview performance, and only those who are shortlisted will be called for the interview. Eligibility Criteria for RBI Recruitment 2025:
To be eligible for the RBI Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must possess at least an MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India in the Allopathic system of medicine.
- Candidates with a post-graduate degree in General Medicine are also eligible to apply for this position.
- Applicants should have a minimum of 02 (two) years of post-qualification experience practicing in the Allopathic system of medicine in any hospital or clinic as a Medical Practitioner.
- The candidate must have their dispensary or place of residence within a 10-15 km radius from the Bank’s dispensaries.
Remuneration for RBI Recruitment 2025:
Selected candidates for RBI Recruitment 2025 will receive a remuneration of Rs. 1000 per hour. In addition to this, the monthly remuneration will include Rs. 1000 for conveyance expenses and Rs. 1000 for mobile charge reimbursement. No other facilities or perks will be provided to the BMC engaged on a contract basis.
This engagement is purely on a contractual basis, and candidates will not be entitled to superannuation benefits like Pension, Provident Fund, or Gratuity. Leave, perquisites, or any other facilities will not be granted. If the candidate is required to attend a dispensary on a public holiday or holiday, compensation of Rs. 1000 per hour will be paid.
Remuneration will be based on the actual duty hours performed, and it will be all-inclusive.
RBI reserves the right to review and modify the rate of remuneration, change the duty hours, or shift the dispensary assigned to the BMC based on administrative and operational needs. As a result of such changes, the number of working hours may also be adjusted accordingly.
The total number of hours for a BMC's engagement can be increased up to 30 hours per week, depending on the Bank's requirements. However, the total hours across all dispensaries will not exceed 30 hours per week.
Selection Process for RBI Recruitment 2025:
According to the official notification for RBI Recruitment 2025, the selection of candidates will be based on an interview. The Bank will conduct interviews and document verification for the shortlisted candidates. RBI reserves the right to set higher minimum eligibility standards if needed.
After the document verification and interview, the shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination as per the prescribed norms before being considered eligible for engagement as a Medical Consultant (MC) on a contract basis. The cost of the medical examination and related tests will be borne by the applicant.
