JKSSB JE Recruitment 2025: Registration for 292 Vacancies Starts on March 8 at jkssb.nic.in – Full Details Inside

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the opening of applications for Junior Engineer positions. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online via the official JKSSB website at jkssb.nic.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill 292 vacancies within the organization.

The registration process will commence on March 8 and conclude on April 7, 2025. For more information on eligibility, selection process, and other details, please read below.

Vacancy Details:

  1. J&K Power Transmission Corporation Limited: 92 posts
  2. Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited: 60 posts
  3. Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited: 129 posts
  4. J&K Power Corporation Limited: 11 posts

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates wishing to apply must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or AMIE (Sec. A&B) in India, or a three-year diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

Selection Process:
The selection process will involve a written test consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The questions will be in English, and negative marking will be applied for each wrong answer, with a deduction of one-fourth of the marks assigned to the question.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) will announce the date of the examination and the examination center(s) separately.

Candidates shortlisted for Document Verification must appear with their original documents, along with self-attested photocopies of each document, certificate, and the online application form as per the Advertisement Notification.

Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹600. However, candidates from the SC, ST-1, ST-2, EWS, and PwBD categories are required to pay a reduced fee of ₹500. Payment can be made through Net Banking, Credit Cards, or Debit Cards. For more information, candidates are advised to visit the official JKSSB website.
