The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is anticipated to release the results for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1) soon. Candidates who appeared for the examination between November 25 and 29, 2024, can check their results on the official RRB website once they are announced. 

How to Check the RRB ALP CBT 1 Result 2025:

  1. Visit the Official RRB Website: Navigate to the official RRB regional website relevant to your application.

  2. Access the Results Section: On the homepage, locate and click on the 'Results' tab.

  3. Select the Appropriate Link: Find and click on the link titled 'CEN -01/2024 Result of 1st Stage CBT FOR Assistant Loco Pilots'.

  4. Download the Result PDF: The result will be available in PDF format. Download and open the file.

  5. Search for Your Roll Number: Use the 'Ctrl + F' function to search for your roll number in the list. If your roll number is present, you have qualified for the next stage.

Expected Cut-Off Marks:

While the official cut-off marks will be released along with the results, based on previous trends and the difficulty level of the exam, the expected cut-off marks for various categories are as follows:

  • General (UR): 49-54 marks
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC): 47-52 marks
  • Scheduled Caste (SC): 38-43 marks
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST): 35-40 marks


Next Steps After CBT 1:

Candidates who qualify in CBT 1 will proceed to the second stage, CBT 2, which is divided into two parts:

  • Part A:

    • Duration: 90 minutes
    • Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions
    • Syllabus: Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering, General Awareness, and Current Affairs
  • Part B:

    • Duration: 60 minutes
    • Questions: 75 multiple-choice questions
    • Syllabus: Relevant trade-based questions as per the candidate’s qualification and choice
    • Note: A minimum of 35% marks is required to qualify in Part B.
