Vivo X300 Series India Launch on 2 December 2025: 200MP ZEISS Camera, Features & Details
The iPhone SE 4 launch is currently the most eagerly awaited by both Apple enthusiasts and tech journalists, including ourselves. There are several reasons for this excitement. First, the SE series has built a reputation for being budget-friendly, which makes it a key factor in the anticipation. Another reason this launch is generating so much buzz for 2025 are the rumored upgrades, such as an iPhone 14-like design, an OLED display, Face ID, and the fact that it could be the most affordable iPhone to feature Apple Intelligence. While no official details have been released yet, recent reports suggest the iPhone SE 4 might launch as early as today.
Last week, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman shared that the iPhone SE 4 could be released this week, alongside the PowerBeats Pro 2. He also noted that Apple may skip hosting an event, opting instead to announce the iPhone SE 4 through a press release, similar to how it handles iPad launches.
iPhone SE 4: Anticipated Specs and Features
Earlier, there was speculation that Apple might drop the "SE" label entirely, potentially rebranding it as the iPhone 16e. However, the iPhone SE 4, or iPhone 16e, is now expected to undergo a significant redesign, departing from its traditional compact form with thick bezels and a Touch ID home button. This time, the phone is likely to resemble the iPhone 14, replacing Touch ID with Face ID.
Another notable upgrade is the display. Unlike the previous model’s LCD screen, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a larger 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, a significant improvement over the 4.7-inch screen found on its predecessor.
Leaked images indicate that the phone will maintain the SE series’ signature single-camera setup, but with a major upgrade. The rear camera is rumored to increase from 12 megapixels to 48 megapixels, while the front camera may see a boost to 24 megapixels.
Apple is also updating the design, moving away from the rounded edges in favor of a boxier shape, similar to recent iPhone models. The power button will likely stay on the right side, as seen on the iPhone 14.
There’s some uncertainty about whether the Dynamic Island feature will be included, but it remains a possibility since the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be powered by Apple’s A18 chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 16 series. Additionally, the phone is rumored to come with 8GB of RAM and support Apple Intelligence, making it the most affordable iPhone to feature AI-powered capabilities.
iPhone SE 4: India Price (Speculation)
Pricing will play a significant role in the iPhone SE 4's appeal. Reports suggest it could start at $499 (approximately Rs 44,000), similar to the launch price of the iPhone SE 3 in India, which was priced at Rs 43,900. However, the SE 3 later saw a price hike to Rs 49,900 due to increased taxes, so the final price of the SE 4 could also be influenced by market factors.
