Recent leaked images of the Pixel 9a suggest that, while the device will follow the design language of the flagship Pixel 9, some subtle changes set it apart. The dual-camera setup on the rear remains, but unlike the premium model, the camera bar will not be raised, giving the phone a slightly different profile.
The Pixel 9a is rumored to launch with Android 15 out of the box. Powering the device could be Google’s Tensor G4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and enabling advanced on-device AI features.
Leaks suggest the Pixel 9a will feature a 6.3-inch Actua display, offering vibrant visuals and enhanced clarity. The screen is expected to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, providing added durability.
For photography enthusiasts, the Pixel 9a is rumored to include a 48MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens, delivering impressive camera performance for a mid-range smartphone.
Battery life is expected to be a key strength, with reports hinting at a 5,100mAh battery. The device is also said to support 23W wired charging and 7.5W wireless charging, ensuring quick and convenient power-ups.
