Hyundai Creta EV Set to Revolutionize the SUV Market: All You Need to Know"

As we enter January 2025, car manufacturers are gearing up for the upcoming Bharat Mobility Show. With the event set to begin on January 17, brands are already generating excitement around their upcoming models. In this context, Hyundai is actively teasing its much-anticipated Creta EV in the country. Recently, the brand released a teaser that unveils key details about the electric vehicle. So, what has been revealed? Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.

Hyundai has teased the upcoming Creta EV, showcasing a design that closely resembles its conventional counterpart. The new model features twin LED DRLs, a LED light bar on the front fascia, a front charging port, new 18-inch aero-type dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails, and more. External changes will include an EV-specific closed grille, a dual-pane sunroof, a charging point behind the logo, and unique EV badges with colored accents. Additionally, Hyundai will offer the new Creta EV in fresh color options and four variants: Executive, Smart, Pure, and Excellence.

The upcoming Hyundai Creta EV is one of the most highly anticipated SUVs in the country. While the teaser images focus on the exterior, the interior features a stylish beige and blue color theme. In terms of features, the new model will include a three-spoke steering wheel, twin 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and the instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an ADAS suite, a redesigned center console, a 360-degree camera, a rotary dial, ventilated seats, and rear seats with a power socket for V2L, among many other enhancements in its package.

Powertrain-wise, the new Hyundai Creta EV will be available with two battery pack options: a 42 kWh and a more powerful 51.4 kWh variant. The 51.4 kWh battery pack will deliver a range of 473 km on a single charge, while the smaller 42 kWh battery pack will offer a range of approximately 390 km. The SUV is also capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds.

Regarding the launch, Hyundai is expected to unveil the new Creta EV at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo. Once launched, the new Creta EV will compete with other upcoming electric vehicles in the country, including the Maruti E-Vitara, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, BYD Atto 3, and more.
