The GATE 2025 Admit Card will be released on January 2, 2025. The steps to download the hall ticket are provided below.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, will release the GATE Admit Card 2025 on January 2, 2025. Candidates wishing to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can download their admit cards from the official IIT GATE website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

Candidates must bring a printed copy of the downloaded Admit Card on A4-sized paper to the examination for verification. Along with the admit card, they must present the original and valid photo identity document (no photocopies, scanned copies, or expired documents) that was specified during the online application process.

GATE Admit Card 2025: Steps to Download

  1. Visit the official GATE 2025 website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the "Download Admit Card" link.
  3. Enter your login credentials, including your application number and password.
  4. After logging in, your GATE 2025 Admit Card will appear on the screen.
  5. Check all details for accuracy and download the admit card.
  6. Take a printout of the admit card on A4-sized paper.

Ensure you bring the printed admit card to the exam along with a valid photo ID.

The GATE 2025 written test will take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam will be conducted in English, with a duration of 3 hours. GATE 2025 will include 30 test papers, and candidates can choose to appear for one or two of these papers. The exam will feature three types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.

Personal calculators, watches, wallets, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic/communication devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates are not allowed to bring books, charts, tables, loose sheets, papers, data, handbooks, pouches, or boxes into the hall. Any candidate found in possession of such items, whether used or not, will be disqualified.
